Title: Current limiting resistors needed for NHD-C12864A1Z-FS(RGB)-FBW-HT1?
Post by: andys on September 27, 2016, 11:34:42 AM
The datasheet for the NHD-C12864A1Z-FS(RGB)-FBW-HT1 on page 3 shows a small circuit connected to the backlight LEDs for this display, but the text is too small to make out the details.  Can someone from NHD confirm that there are indeed current limiting resistors for this display, and that those resistors are sized appropriately for 3V3 input voltage?

Thanks
Andy

Hello,

There are no current limiting resistors built into this display.
The resistors on the pads have a value of 0Ω.

If you take a look at the bottom picture here: http://www.newhavendisplay.com/images/large/NHD-C12864A1Z-FS(RGB)-FBW-HT1-front_LRG.jpg
You can see the values of R1-R3 are 0Ω.
