ILI9341 Freeze Display
« on: November 23, 2014, 09:57:43 AM »
Is there any way to freeze the display while I update the display memory?  Due to the relatively low speed of writing the display memory, the display updates are not a crisp as I would like.  If I can freeze the current display, update the memory, and then unfreeze it to instantly apply the new display data, it would look much, much better.  Anyone know of a way to do this? I'm using the 8080-II 8-bit interface.

There is not a way to do this.  What you are describing is essentially double-buffering, and the ILI9341 controller does not have this feature.
