Title: NHD‐240128WG-ATMI‐VZ#
Post by: Rob on September 29, 2015, 04:04:10 PM
Hello
I'm trying to find out the amount of memory for the NHD‐240128WG-ATMI‐VZ#. Datasheet doesn't mention memory size. Is it a standard memory size for this kind of displays?. I'm not really sure if it is important to map the text area, graphics area and the CGRAM.

Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to write many complete screen size images (240x128) and then switch them by changing the graphic home address?

Hi Rob,

There isn't a memory associated with these displays. You would tell the controller to display the pixel data onto the display. To write complete screen size images you would either have to convert the given image into hex by using a program such as LCD Assistant, or set up your MPU to read a given image and convert it into display data.
