Title: NHD-7.0-800480EF-ASXV-T TFT screen image deformed
Post by: jcarlos on October 18, 2016, 05:27:03 AM
Hello.
We are working in a new project with a Windows CE 7 SBC with Vybrid freescale and the NHD-7.0-800480EF-ASXV-T TFT display. The device is working nice  but the TFT screen is deformed as if pixel format was wrong. It's easy to see when display a circle image.
We suppose that Registry keys are all correct. We attach a image of it.

At Boot time, LCD display this parameters:
LCD: RegQueryTimingVal: BLW = 88
LCD: RegQueryTimingVal: ELW = 40
LCD: RegQueryTimingVal: HSW = 128
LCD: RegQueryTimingVal: BFW = 33
LCD: RegQueryTimingVal: EFW = 10
LCD: RegQueryTimingVal: VSW = 2
***
***
LCD: DispDrvrFS_BacklightControl ON
LCD: Alloc Primary Surface 800x480, Format 4
LCD: pixelFormat = OTHER
LCD: Alloc Primary Surface 0xcd8dcb10, Buffer 0xcda30000
LCD: ScreenWidth:800, ScreenHeight:480, WS:800, HS:480, Rotate:0, PriRot:0
LCD: DynRotate ScreenW=800, ScreenH=480, ModeW=800, ModeH=480
LCD: Primary ScreenWidth:800, ScreenHeight:480, Rotate:0
LCD: SetContrast: new=0xfff old=0xfff
Is there any kind of registry key for Pixel format?
We expect for your answer.
Thanks.

Responded to the email.
It looks like you are going under the assumption that all of the pixels are going to be squares.

This might not have to do with the settings you have listed. It seems you might be displaying a square image that is being stretched to fit the full display.
You might need to send another image that has 800x480 pixels to avoid the distortion.
