Title: NHD-0216K1Z-FL-YBW Screen Corruption Problem
Post by: ScorpionTech on January 13, 2017, 12:08:56 PM
Hello I have built a product with the NHD-0216K1Z-FL-YBW display. One of our customers is reporting problems with the screen corrupting after a random amount of time. The corruption is different every time and the screen will keep updating with random characters so it is not frozen. We are thinking that it is some type of electrical interference but are unable to reproduce it on our bench. The closest we can get is if we pull a jumper off of pin 6 (the write pin) and put it back on the screen will corrupt (shown in photos) Is there something that we need to do to protect from static or voltage fluctuations?
Thanks for the help!

Hello,

This can be attributed to a timing issue.
Do you know if you are using a delay between each data write?

Would you also be able to provide the write function along with the data you are sending?
