Title: Can the NHD-14432WG-ATFH-V#T be powered from 3.3V?

Hello,

I have a Texas Instrument launchpad, EK-TM4C123GXL. This guy runs off 3.3V and I would like to know if I can power the NHD-14432WG-ATFH-V#T from it directly.

Datasheet: http://www.newhavendisplay.com/specs/NHD-14432WG-ATFH-VT.pdf

The datasheet does specify a 5V input, but I wanted to confirm here. If this is the case, what are my options to up the voltage?

Thanks

We recommend using a level shifter to transition up to 5v logic levels to drive the display.
If 5v is not available in your design to power the display, then adding a 5v step-up DC to DC converter will be necessary.
