TFTs / No Green on 24-bit color TFT

I'm using an NHD-7.0-800480EF-ATXV# driven directly from an FPGA. When I generate color bars with the following values I get these colors:

r[7:0] <= 0; // Black
g[7:0] <= 0;
b[7:0] <= 0;

r[7:0] <= 8'h00; // Black
g[7:0] <= 8'hff;
b[7:0] <= 8'h00;

r[7:0] <= 8'h00; // Blue
g[7:0] <= 8'hff;
b[7:0] <= 8'hff;

r[7:0] <= 8'h00; // Blue
g[7:0] <= 8'h00;
b[7:0] <= 8'hff;

r[7:0] <= 8'hff; // Red
g[7:0] <= 8'h00;
b[7:0] <= 8'h00;

r[7:0] <= 8'hff; // Red
g[7:0] <= 8'hff;
b[7:0] <= 8'h00;

r[7:0] <= 8'hff; // Whitish Violet
g[7:0] <= 8'h00;
b[7:0] <= 8'hff;

r[7:0] <= 8'hff; // Whitish Violet
g[7:0] <= 8'hff;
b[7:0] <= 8'hff;

The green (G7-G0) interface does nothing at all - no change in color at all! I see all the signal values (including green) are correct on the flex connector with an oscilloscope. The color bars are extremely stable with no flickering. I also tried a NHD-7.0-800480EF-ATXL#; but it does the same thing.

TFTs / Enabling Built In Self Test - BIST

For the NHD-7.0-800480EF-ATXV, I noticed that the HX8264‐D02 Source Driver has a BIST pin (Built In Self Test). There is no pin like this on the 40-pin TFT connector; but I was wondering if perhaps one of the traces or resistors on the flex circuit was connected to this pin which would allow me to easily test the product?

I'm planning to use an NHD-7.0-800480EF-ATXV-T driven directly from an FPGA.

What mode is the source driver set to? DE or HSD/VSD mode?

What HS front porch value should I use? Also VS front porch?

Will it be readable in direct sunlight?
