NEW 7" BeagleBone Capes

Engineered and assembled in Elgin, IL USA, Newhaven Display’s new 7" BeagleBone Capes
make capacitive touch display prototype developing easy for both current and aspiring BeagleBone
 users. The product line features three Capes, each mounted to either a Standard, Premium (MVA)
or Sunlight Readable 7" TFT featuring a 5-point multi-touch capacitive touch panel and pairs
seamlessly with a BeagleBone Black board (sold separately by Now,
with the simple "plug and play" design of these Capes, users can take full advantage of the built-in
touch capabilities of operating systems such as Linux or Android.

The display options featured on the new 7" BeagleBone Capes are an NHD-7.0-800480EF-ATXL#-CTP,
an NHD-7.0-800480EF-ASXV#-CTP, or an NHD-7.0-800480EF-ASXN#-CTP. Each of these part
numbers represent our Standard, Premium (MVA) and Sunlight-Readable TFT display technologies
and share a 800x480 pixel resolution, 24-bit true color, as well as an integrated full-featured capacitive
touch panel.

The 7" BeagleBone Capes' use of BeagleBone development technology means the user can utilize the
BeagleBone community's open source resources. The Capes also have a secondary Cape slot present
to supplement your BeagleBone development with any other Capes you may need. The possibilities are
endless with the amazing BeagleBone community combined with these specially designed Capes.

NEW 4.3" Arduino Shields

Introducing Newhaven Display's new 4.3" Arduino Shields. Designed to be a simple compact solution
for developing with touch TFTs, these shields are available in six different models ready to connect with
some of Arduino's most commonly used development boards.

Each shield features a 480x272 resolution TFT in the form of a sunlight readable, premium MVA or standard
display type with a 5-point multi-touch capacitive or 4-wire resistive touchscreen. Engineered in Elgin Illinois,
these shields generate audio output with an on board power amplifier and include a micro SD slot, allowing
additional storage space for more complex code. Additionally, they feature the FT801 or FT800 embedded video
engine and require no extra boards or cables in order to connect directly with an Arduino board, shortening
development time and providing the quickest method for developing with touch TFTs.

You mentioned you would be interested in this TFT as a high brightness version and you'll be happy to note that we will be coming out with new high brightness and a sunlight readable TFTs in a 7.0" size very soon, within the month. I'm so glad you took advantage of the discount!
